i dont really find that funny
Yeah, sure, get your baby to advertise buying lung cancer.... Bravo. *cough*
In those days the advertisers and general public were unaware of the dangers of smoking.
Us smokers, we learn early on to put up a psychological barrier of denial between our smoking habit and the reality of the damage we’re causing ourselves with every cigarette smoked
Okay, people need to realize that back then it wasn't a big deal to smoke, I mean, kids would even make drinks for their parents. Everyone smoked and they literally didn't know the after math smoking can have. So advertising with a baby wasn't seen as something frowned upon, but something cute. So from that point of view its not offensive.
